Shri Sai Baba Says...

"I do not need any paraphernalia of worship either eight-fold or sixteen-fold. I rest there, where there is full devotion"

Sai Darshan

Om Sai Ram
I was visiting Canada for the first time in January, 2006. It was my first trip to Toronto. Before going there, I knew that there was a Sai Baba temple at Shri Sai Dwarkamai 147 Winston Castle (from Sai Vichar newletter), however I was staying quite far (about 30-40min in harsh weather) at Residency Inn, Toronto. I really wished to visit the Sai Baba temple there. However during the 3 weeks I stayed there, somehow or the other the plan kept shifting until it was the last weekend of my visit. I did not know Mr Raviji and Mrs Shammiji personally, however I called them up to enquire about the temple, and how I could reach there. Before that I had written a mail to them and they had mentioned that they could pick us up incase it was difficult for us to reach there. However the weather was so bad at that time (around -20 deg C) that I had thought that perhaps I would have to go back without having Baba's darshan. But when I talked to them, they readily agreed to pick me and my friend up from the hotel. Mr Ravi came himself driving in the harsh weather and took us to his home where the temple is setup. Its a very beautiful setup, and we really had a great darshan of Baba. Mrs Shammiji also greeted us very pleasantly and we shared our experiences of Baba. Then Raviji dropped us back to our hotel. Despite the fact that we were totally strangers to them, they welcomed us to their home and we could have great darshan of Baba. I can never forget the goodness of these people. I truly believe it is Baba who connects us all together, and brings us together from different parts of the world. May Baba bless this wonderful couple and their family...

I very well remember the trip we made at your place. It was very nice of Sir to come pick us up and drop us back in that harsh weather.

Over the past 4 years, my family and my devotion to Baba has been growing stronger. Infact even my parents, who were not so familiar with Baba, have started worshipping Him. Just last week they were here and we made a trip to Shirdi. We had very nice darshan of Baba, and were fortunate to touch the Samadhi. As such, right now I am holding at job at Pune, so Shirdi is 4 hours drive from here. Baba's grace has been on us to call us here. A wonderful thing also happened in Shirdi that a TV channel interviewed me for my views regarding building of an airport at Shirdi for which the government is taking Rs 100 Crore from Sai Baba Sansthan. I had expressed my views and they aired it on NDTV. The video is at

(the audio might be a bit low). I appear around 32sec.

I also happened to be friends with another devotee of Baba at my company who guided me to two books - 'Gurucharitra' and 'Sai Baba - The Master'. The latter provided lot more insight on miracles of Baba. If you have not read that, probably I can courier you a copy from India.

I went and subscribed at the Sai Baba blog you created. Its very nice and makes one feel closer to Baba. I yet have to go through the videos. I would do that also this week.

Please be in touch. Its always great hearing from other Sai devotees.

Jai Sai Ram.
